Years ago Google teamed up with others in an attempt to fight phishing. This is now expressed by the Firefox & Chrome pages to stop just that phishing. In both browsers you can report bad websites and help Firefox and Chrome auto protect users.

In Firefox it’s as simple as hitting the Alt key and going to the help menu you click Report web forgery.

If you want another option you can connect directly to the reporting page

If you want to help fight phishing report every RuneScape login that’s not on RuneScape.com report all those become a mod scam sites. You can help reduce the amount of people getting rich from your money!!! As of today XL-Log will have a menu link to report phishing scams.

You can also report phishing websites to Microsoft’s SmartScreen Filter.

By following these steps as posted by Microsoft:

  1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button. In the search box, type Internet Explorer, and then, in the list of results, click Internet Explorer.
  2. Go to the phishing website.
  3. Click the Tools button, point to Safety, and then click Report this Website.
  4. Use the webpage that is displayed to report the website.
